Day-to-day of the role:
- Work collaboratively across various departments to ensure the safety of staff, partners, and the public.
- Lead and advocate for cultural change in health and safety practices across the organisation.
- Utilise digital tools to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Support the organisation's transformation and continuous improvement in health and safety measures.
- Act as a deputy for the Strategic Health & Safety and Risk Manager, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
- Play a key role in emergency planning and enhancing organisational resilience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Chartered Member of IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health).
- Proven experience in managing change and maintaining composure under pressure.
- Strong background in developing health and safety policies and implementing innovative solutions.
- Flexibility in working hours, including availability for some out-of-hours work.
- Desirable: Experience in risk management, emergency planning, or business continuity.
