Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Driver / CSCS Card required

Location: Crawley

Duration: 16 weeks

Rate: £17.00 - £18.50 per hour

Hours: 7.30am - 5.30pm

Start Date: Wednesday 22nd April

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Counterbalance Forklift driver who holds the relevant Counterbalance Training Card to join our client and support the team on a busy refurbishment project.

The scheme itself is a medium sized distribution centre owned by a global brand, they are expanding their floor space by ripping out / knocking down internal walls to make the building an open plan finish. Aswell as a huge car park upgrade.

This will be a full a fit out / civils project with its total value being circa £6m

Responsibilities:

* Safely operate forklifts to move construction materials around the site.

* Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.

* Assist with general site duties as needed.

* Adhere to all site safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

* Valid forklift operator certification - Counterbalance (Npors / Equivalent)

* CSCS Card

* Proven experience operating forklifts on construction sites.

* Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

* Excellent communication skills.
