Transport Administrator

We are recruiting for a confident administrator to join the transport office at a large depot just on the outskirts of Ilkeston. You will be joining a busy office on site and will be assisting with the contract manager and transport planners to ensure the smooth running of the logistics operations. 

Monday to Friday, (Apply online only) or (Apply online only)

Temporary ongoing (permanent opportunity after qualifying time period)

Day to Day will include

Acting as point of contact for incoming calls and inbound emails.

Coordinating with other depots regarding driver movements.

Speaking with all stakeholders and assisting with resolution of issues and answering any queries.

Data entry, copying and filing.

Other general office duties

About you

Ideally you will have come from a transport background and have experience working in a supply chain environment.

Confident communicator with strong customer service skills.

Experience in driver management /scheduling software

Proficient in Microsoft suite and adaptable to new systems 

Fluent English, verbal and written.
