Leisure Centre Duty Manager

Salary Range: £18000-£20000 per annum

37 hours a week, flexibility is a MUST. As the successful applicant will be working on a rotating shift pattern to include weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Duty Manager to join a successful team, due to an internal promotion. Our client is looking for an experienced Duty Manager or an ambitious and talented Supervisor who is passionate about the Leisure & Hospitality industry.

The Role

As a Duty Manager you will manage the day-to-day operation of the Leisure Centre and Bar & Café. You will have experience of managing a team, be highly organised, comfortable working on your own initiative and able to thrive in a busy multi-tasking environment.

As the Duty Manager you will be expected to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Centre whilst achieving commercial and social objectives. The Duty Manager is key in the delivery of customer service excellence and staff satisfaction.

Driven and dedicated employee who is able to manage a busy and demanding workload
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a small team to ensure excellence across all operational areas
Passionate about providing the highest levels of customer service.
You will need to have experience of taking responsibility for staff, buildings, stock & cash, and in particular the effective delivery of operational functions
Some experience of licensed bar functions is desirable but not essential
You will need to have good written and excellent verbal communication skills
Able to drive income in all areas of the business and create an environment where colleagues can achieve their full potential and have experience in performance management and HR policy
Exceptional time management and deadline compliance.
Willingness to adopt a “hands on” flexible approach to all areas of the operation is essential.


Leisure Management experience (2 Years)

Food & Beverage Management experience (2 Years)
