Quantity Surveyor (Future Commercial Manager)

Join a long-established specialist contractor delivering conservation-led refurbishments across Central London. You'll take commercial ownership of multiple live projects, working closely with the Commercial Manager but trusted to run your own jobs from pre-start to final account.

Plenty of scope here for career growth this is a mid-level QS role with a clear path to Commercial Manager.

The Role
• Manage commercial duties across 35 heritage projects (£300k£1m)
• Set up budgets, place subcontract orders, and prepare valuations
• Attend site meetings and liaise with project teams to track progress and costs
• Monitor labour levels and report on financial performance

What they're looking for
• 48 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor (main contractor or specialist trade)
• Comfortable managing small to mid-size projects independently
• Solid technical knowledge with strong attention to detail
• Experience in listed buildings, façade packages, or conservation work is welcome but not essential.

With a turnover of £13m and around 40 live projects annually, they're well respected in a niche and demanding sector.
