POSITION TITLE: Architectural Construction Project Manager

SUMMARY

We are searching to fill a full time experienced, Project Manager position with a steel fabricator located in the area of Millersville / North Nashville, TN. Experience is required to apply. This is not an entry level position AND RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION DOES NOT CROSS OVER. We do not train.

Pay range is $60k to $80k per year DOE.

Description

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects in accordance with the deadlines and guidelines set forth by the contract, contractor, and sales team within the given budgets. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control and communication throughout its life cycle.

Responsibilities

Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. o Develop full-scale project plans/schedules along with associated communications documents for customer to ensure project expectations and deadlines are met. o Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. o Establish and manage project dependencies and critical path. o Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. o Track project milestones and deliverables. o Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project. o Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely, clear fashion and update throughout the project. o Continually coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and subcontractors. Influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. o Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.

o Determine and assess needs for additional staff and/or consultants. Make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle. o Where required, schedule with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company. o Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. o Ensure all drawings are reviewed and up to date as well as loaded to PlanGrid and the server. o Review and track all project revisions (ASI, bulletin, CCD, RFI, etc.) and generate any change orders due to change(s) in the scope throughout the duration of the project. o Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, devise contingency plans and pricing. o Required to attend weekly production meeting, bi-weekly detailing meeting, and weekly install schedule meeting. o Attend Millwork Production as necessary to ensure project completion at other divisions. o Provide project updates and feedback at all production, detailing, and install meetings to Operations Team.
