The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our team from January 2026. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering high-quality lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of the world around us.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the school curriculum.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.

Develop innovative teaching materials and employ a range of pedagogical strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and independent thinking.

Support extra-curricular activities and field trips related to Geography where possible.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to curriculum development, and support whole-school initiatives.

Person Specification:

Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.

Strong subject knowledge in Geography, with experience teaching at KS3 and KS4.

Passionate about inspiring students and fostering a love of Geography.

Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

Committed to supporting the school's ethos and promoting student achievement.
