Are you a .NET Software Engineer looking to build robust, high-quality systems within fintech and continue developing your technical skill set?

My client is a fintech organisation developing scalable, business-critical platforms used in a fast-paced environment. They are seeking a .NET Software Engineer with around 3-4 years of commercial experience who enjoys writing clean code, working on meaningful problems, and contributing to well-designed systems.

The Role

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET

  • Work on platforms processing high volumes of data and transactions

  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers and QA to deliver new features

  • Produce clean, maintainable, well-tested code

  • Take part in code reviews and technical design discussions

  • Help support and improve live systems, with a focus on performance and reliability

What You'll Bring
  • 3-4 years' experience building software with C#/.NET

  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and core design principles

  • Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services

  • Good working knowledge of SQL databases

  • Experience using Git in a team-based environment

  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is advantageous

  • Previous experience in fintech or financial services is beneficial, but not required

Nice to Have
  • Experience with modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6+)

  • Familiarity with messaging systems or event-driven architectures

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

  • Interest in system performance, scalability and resilience
