Overview:

Unify are thrilled to be recruiting for a Senior Hire Desk Controller to join an established and growing Plant Hire company focusing on the construction sector.

In the role of Senior Hire Desk Controller, you will be overseeing the Wigan and Midlands hire teams, while also providing support to other depots when required. You will lead and support the hire function to deliver plant hire services, ensuring the smooth coordination of the on-hire and off-hire process.

What do I need?

* Prior experience working within a Team Leader / Senior position

* Experience within the Plant hire industry

* Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust schedules as needed

* Proficiency in IT systems, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

* Excellent attention to detail / strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

* Maintaining strong client relationships by resolving queries and complaints while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

* Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of plant and equipment hire orders across hire desks

* Supporting the Line Manager with reports, performance insights, and KPI tracking to assist operational decision-making

* Arranging and coordinating hire contracts for equipment bookings, ensuring all documentation and details are completed correctly

* Working closely with customers to continue and develop relationships

Desirable:

* Experience of the Syrinx system however, training available

Working Hours:

* Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
