OverviewOur Major Risks Practice Division based out of London office are seeking an experienced and technically minded Team Leader to join our brilliant team.
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of Account Managers and Account Handlers. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of the team, driving performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development. As the Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in delivering key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring compliance with MRP standards.
This role is ideal for a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a leadership position and is committed to driving team success while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
How you'll make an impact1. Team Management:
o Provide leadership and guidance to Account Managers and Account Handlers. Responsible for 10-15 people.
o Monitor and oversee the team's workflow to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
2. Performance Management:
o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
o Implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
3. Training and Development:
o Identify training needs and facilitate development opportunities for team members.
o Encourage junior team members to take personal responsibility for their own growth.
4. KPI Delivery:
o Ensure compliance with company standards regarding account queries, Acturis completion, indexing, evidence of cover, contract certainty, and audit follow-up and anything else that might need reporting on.
o Support account teams in achieving their KPIs.
5. New Starter Induction:
o Implement induction programs for new team members.
o Ensure proper equipment setup for new starters.
6. Team Event Management:
o Organise and manage team events to foster team cohesion and morale.
7. Client Templates:
o Control and update client templates to ensure accuracy and relevance.
About You- Technical Knowledge:
o Possess some technical knowledge with a focus on Account Handling. - Administrative and Technical Balance:
o Admin-focused (75%) with technical responsibilities (25%). - Renewal Processes:
o Familiarity with renewal processes and procedures. - Organisational Skills:
o Strong organisational and diary management skills. - Acturis Knowledge:
o Proficient in using Acturis software. - Office Attendance:
o Minimum of three days of office attendance per week. - Leadership and Development:
o Ability to encourage and motivate junior team members to take ownership of their development. - Confidence and Resilience:
o Confident in facing challenges and welcoming new opportunities. - Client Work:
o Limited or no direct client work involvement. - Must be eligible to work in the UK.
