This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Planner to take the next step in their career within a respected private consultancy, working across a wide range of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. As a Senior Town Planner, you will take a leading role in managing a varied portfolio of planning projects from initial feasibility through to submission and determination.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and managing planning applications and appeals

• Undertaking site appraisals and planning policy assessments

• Drafting planning statements and supporting documentation

• Managing project timelines and coordinating consultants

• Liaising with Local Planning Authorities and key stakeholders

• Supporting junior members of the team where required

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

• MRTPI qualified (or working towards Chartership)

• Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline

• Demonstrable experience within either the private or public sector

• Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and development management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage projects independently
