Technical Manager (Electrical Bias)

Salary - up to £62,000

Monday to Friday, 40 Hours a Week

We're looking to speak with any electrically biased managers in the facilities management industry who are looking to work for one of the most recognizable FM companies in the UK and across the world. We're recruiting for a Technical Manager who has an Electrical background.

In this role you will be working on a Healthcare site based in Romford leading a large team of engineers and will be aiming to deliver the highest levels of customer service and be able to manage daily scheduled and reactive works across the facility ensuring all standard of statutory compliance and health and safety standards are met.

This exciting opportunity has come up working for one of the largest FM companies across the UK with an annual operating revenue of £17b. This company covers the hard and soft services across some of the largest clients within the commercial, domestic and industrial industry.

Duties/Responsibilities for a Technical Manager:

* Lead a team of electrical engineers delivering compliant, safe, and responsive building services.

* Act as Authorised Person (LV/HV/Lifts), managing safety-critical systems (e.g. IPS, UPS).

* Ensure full compliance with HTMs, the Electricity at Work Act, IET Wiring Regulations, and CDM.

* Liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, and client representatives.

* Drive technical performance, complete risk assessments, and manage audits and reports.

* Oversee contractor performance and supply chain efficiency.

* Use CAFM systems (e.g. Maximo) to monitor and optimise asset management.

* Participate in out-of-hours emergency response rotas and permit-to-work systems
