Hours - 8am to 3pm 30hrs per week - term time only plus 1 week

Salary - £28,000 - Term Time Only

Catering Manager Roles & Responsibilities:

* Oversee the delivery of catering services within an educational facility in Ulverston.
* You will actively promote the school meal service and increase the awareness of healthy eating to pupils and parents. Present nutritious foods in an attractive manner whilst maintaining portion control. You will be educated around special dietary requirements and allergens.
* Day to day management of the Catering Teams - compiling rota's and updating staffing schedules to ensure efficient resource allocation Lead the catering teams to provide an efficient, 5 star service providing any training and coaching as required Ensure that we deliver a high quality and well organised services and that all food is prepared to a high standard as per service level agreement.


The Candidate:
* Previous experience in high end catering or hospitality and events management, ideally obtained from an educational environment
* Experience of leading and developing a team to deliver a great service Good financial awareness and strong management skills
* Demonstrable knowledge of volume catering and delivering high end services and food.
* Passion for leading a team to deliver great food and service.
* Excellent communication skills and customer focus
* Proactive and highly organized with a great attention to detail
* Strong knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety with a recognized food hygiene qualification.
* Experience within a similar role in a educational setting.
* Enhanced DBS certificate.
