We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Reflection Room Support Assistant to join the school on a part-time basis from September 2025.

This role plays a vital part in supporting the school's pastoral systems by helping students re-engage positively with their learning, develop emotional regulation, and make constructive behaviour choices. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in young people's lives, particularly those who benefit from additional guidance and structure.

The Role:

Provide supervision and pastoral support for students in the Reflection Room.
Support students in reflecting on their behaviour, choices, and next steps.
Work closely with the school's pastoral and behaviour teams to ensure effective interventions.
Record and monitor student progress using internal systems.
Promote a calm, respectful environment aligned with the school's values.
Ideal Candidate:

Has experience working with secondary-aged pupils in a pastoral, mentoring or support role.
Demonstrates resilience, empathy, and a firm but fair approach to behaviour management.
Can build positive relationships with young people and encourage self-reflection.
Has excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
