HR Advisor / Associate HR Business Partner

Are you a proactive HR professional looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based south of Norwich, is seeking an HR Advisor / Associate HR Business Partner to join their busy and supportive People Team.
This is a varied HR generalist role, offering the chance to work closely with business leaders, contribute to people strategies, and play a key part in shaping a positive workplace culture.
About the Role
Reporting into the HR Manager, you will provide end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle. No two days are the same—this is a hands-on, fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys variety and building trusted relationships across the organisation.
You will be involved in:
- Employee Relations – managing casework, supporting managers, and ensuring fair, compliant outcomes.
- Performance & Talent – coaching line managers, supporting reviews, and helping drive high performance.
- Onboarding & Induction – ensuring an excellent experience for new starters.
- Data Analytics & Reporting – using people data to inform decisions and identify trends.
- Health, Wellbeing & Engagement – contributing to initiatives that support and enhance employee experience.
- Change & Continuous Improvement – supporting restructures, projects, and organisational development activities.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings a balance of professionalism, warmth, and commercial understanding. You will thrive in a dynamic environment and be comfortable dealing with sensitive or complex situations with care.
You will ideally have:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commercial mindset and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in a generalist HR role—manufacturing or similar environments advantageous but not essential.
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach and willingness to get involved at all levels.
CIPD Level 5 or working towards it would be beneficial, though not essential.
