Operational Cleaning Supervisor - Part Time

Location: Essex / Chelmsford Area HQ Maldon

location varied sites throughout Essex

Pay: £16 per hour

Hours: Flexible part time across a 7-day week

The Clean Leaf Company is looking for a reliable and organised Cleaning Supervisor to support our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team, maintaining high standards, and ensuring our eco-friendly cleaning services are delivered professionally.

This is a very varied role and requires someone with autonomy, drive commitment and look into be promoted internally as the business grows.

Within a very short amount of time we have reached exponential growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting cleaning staff across multiple locations

• Covering cleaning shifts when required

• Managing staff rotas and shift cover

• Handling day-to-day operational issues and problem solving

• Conducting quality checks and spot inspections to ensure company standards are met

• Training new cleaning staff

• Managing cleaning supplies, stock levels, and product refills

• Delivering products and supplies to team members when required

• Liaising with back-office staff and confirming completed hours for payroll

Requirements

• Must hold a full UK driving licence

• Own vehicle preferred (fuel allowance may be discussed)

• Previous cleaning or supervisory experience desirable

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage a small team

• Reliable and trustworthy
