I.T. Manager Responsibilities:
Sustain development of remote access/control systems environments, allowing for efficient management of many systems by fewer and off-site personnel
Lead projects as directed by the IT Manager, must be able to be the leader in the project from start to finish, including design, testing, implementing and final signoff.
Lead the management of the Local Area Network and must be able to design and maintain the network to acceptable performance levels.
Assist in managing and overseeing administrative duties on all divisional servers and PC’s
Assist with upgrades on hardware and software systems as required
Assist divisional IT team members as needed and manage the workflow of intra-divisional personnel exchange.
Assist in supporting Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Microsoft Outlook, and CAD (CATIA V5, Autodesk Inventor Series, etc.) systems. Support EDI systems including connections to customers and vendors.
Help manage enterprise systems backups for all business critical data systems.
Help oversee and maintain enterprise-wide and automated virus protection systems on all servers and PC’s and manage automated deployment of critical software fixes via Windows Software Updated Services (WSUS)
Through self-training, computer-based training and courses, continuously improve levels of knowledge and competency with IT systems and products utilized.
Help research, evaluate, and develop new technologies, hardware, and software
Assist with company projects requiring IT involvement
Help facilitate vendor contracts and agreements to lower IT purchasing costs and improve overall product quality.
Maintain documentation and organization of and determine the need for various system support contracts
Facilitate help desk activities between the vendor’s helpdesk and end-users at the division
Assist in the continued implementation of the MRP software system (CMS)
Research problems encountered by users in the ERP system and other manufacturing applications and provide appropriate resolutions based on best practices
Apply functional knowledge to the design and configuration of the ERP system
Work with Ignition and Funnel Cloud software to provide data to the shop floor and Business Unit Managers
Encourage safety, housekeeping, and organizational practices and lead by example
Participate in Continual Improvement activities
Adhere to customer requirements, Business Operating System, and company policies

I.T. Manager Requirements:
1+ year’s computer experience in a manufacturing environment
Microsoft Windows 7/10, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Active Directory and Group Policy management
Microsoft Office 2016
CMS experience a plus
Strong networking experience/background including routers, switches, VLAN management, WiFi, etc.
TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, HTTP, WEP/WPA
Automotive Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
Good understanding of MRP/ERP systems
Knowledge of bar coding, labeling and scanning systems
Knowledge of PLC network integration
Virtual Private Networking (IPsec, PPTP, L2TP) knowledge
Firewall, router, and switch configuration/programming knowledge
Salary $80,000 - $90,000 a year.
