A supportive mainstream primary school in Bedford is seeking an SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This role is based within the school's SEN provision, offering a structured and well-supported environment where you can provide focused, individualised support to a pupil.

The school is part of a well-established multi-academy trust, providing strong SEN support systems, shared expertise, and opportunities for ongoing development.

Your Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil within the SEN provision
Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support team
Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning space
Essential Job Requirements:

Experience supporting children with SEND
Patient, calm, and resilient approach
Ability to build strong, trusting relationships
Proactive and adaptable mindset

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
