Your Role as Textiles Teacher:

*

Teach Textiles across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to GCSE and possibly A-Level delivery

*

Design and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that develop students' technical and creative skills

*

Support students with their coursework, portfolio development, and final projects

*

Promote a safe and productive classroom environment with a focus on practical learning and sustainability

*

Participate in extra-curricular activities including fashion shows, design competitions, and exhibitions

What We're Looking For:

A qualified Textiles Teacher with a background in fashion, textiles, or design technology

Strong subject knowledge and an ability to teach creatively and inclusively across a wide range of abilities

A passion for design and making, with a focus on student engagement and achievement

Excellent organisational skills and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
