The Children with Disabilities Team at Redbridge is seeking passionate and committed Social Workers and Senior Social Workers to provide high-quality statutory services to children with additional needs and their families.
About the Role: As part of the Children with Disabilities service, you will:

Manage a varied caseload of children with disabilities, including those subject to CIN, CP and LAC plans.

Undertake complex assessments and direct work with children and families.

Develop and implement outcome-focused care plans in line with statutory responsibilities.

Build and maintain effective multi-agency partnerships to promote positive outcomes.

Participate in duty, strategy discussions, legal planning, and court work as required.

Work under the framework of the Children Act 1989, Working Together 2018, and other relevant legislation and policies.
Candidate Requirements: -
Essential: Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration and experience in statutory children's social work.

Desirable: Experience in child protection and safeguarding. CWD experience is not essential but a clear interest in this area is required.

Strong understanding of legislation, statutory guidance, and best practice in children's social care.

Ability to work flexibly, manage competing priorities, and demonstrate resilience in a fast-paced environment.

A car driver is preferable to support home visits and locality-based working.
