Seymour John are pleased to be supporting a well-established, growing organisation in the Black Country, who are looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a high-performing Business Development Manager, to lead on driving new business growth. This is a sales-focused role where you will be responsible for attracting new members, building a strong pipeline, and converting prospects through consultative selling.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Membership, you will be responsible for:

* Driving new business acquisition through proactive outreach and consultative selling

* Building and managing a high-quality sales pipeline, identifying growth sectors and untapped opportunities

* Engaging with CEOs, MDs, and senior leaders to position the organisation's value proposition

* Representing the organisation at events, forums, and networking opportunities, showcasing its benefits and ROI

* Consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets, making a measurable impact on growth

About You

We're looking for a commercially driven, results-focused professional with proven experience in B2B sales or business development. You will have a strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets, coupled with excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills. Confidence in engaging senior decision-makers is essential, as is the ability to build and manage a high-quality pipeline. Highly organised and self-motivated, you will bring resilience, energy, and a passion for creating meaningful business relationships.
