Supply Star Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Art Technician to support a busy and creative Art Department. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for the arts and a keen eye for detail who enjoys working in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare materials, equipment, and resources for practical art lessons
*
Support teaching staff with lesson setup and demonstrations
*
Maintain and organise art stock, tools, and classroom displays
*
Assist with health and safety procedures and risk assessments
*
Manage kiln operations and other specialist art equipment (where applicable)
*
Support with exhibitions, displays, and extracurricular activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A strong interest in Art & Design and working in an educational environment
*
Good organisational and time-management skills
*
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
A practical, hands-on approach and attention to detail
*
Experience in an art-related or technician role (preferred)
*
Awareness of health & safety in art environments
