Cover People are seeking a KS3 Science Supply Teacher for a secondary school in the Trafford area. This role is ideal for qualified teachers looking for long-term work with some flexibility.

Dates: January - July 2026

Days: Monday - Thursday preferred (full 5 days considered)

Workload: Minimal marking and some planning involved
You'll join a school with a strong pastoral ethos, supportive faculty teams, and a commitment to student achievement.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Science lessons at KS3
*
Follow pre-set schemes of work with minimal planning
*
Support student learning and behaviour in line with school expectations
*
Provide feedback to students and colleagues as required
Essential Criteria
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*
Experience teaching Science in secondary schools
*
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*
Ability to differentiate learning for mixed-ability classes
*
Right to work in the UK
