You’ll be the face of the hotel – leading from the front, energising your team, and making every guest feel at home. This is a hands on leadership role supporting your team across all departments.

This wonderful property is based in the heart of Buckinghamshire. This role offers a salary of up to £55,000.

Main responsibilities for the General Manager role are:

• Lead from the front across all departments: front-of-house, F&B, events, housekeeping, and more
• Serve and direct operationally – especially during peak periods and key events
• Drive local footfall into the restaurant, pub, and tea room through community engagement and excellent service
• Grow conference & meeting business with strong delegate package conversion
• Build a thriving wedding trade across both large and intimate venue spaces
• Maximise festive trading with creative packages and event coordination
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team across all functions
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and brand standards
• Champion a guest-first culture with a high level of on-the-floor visibility and support

Skills required for theGeneral Manager role are:

• GM, Deputy, or Ops Manager experience in a full-service hotel
• Strong F&B background and event know-how
• A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and floor presence
• Proven ability to grow revenue across multiple income streams
• Passion for hospitality and great guest experiences
