Internal Tech Recruiter, working for one of the worlds most recognisable brands, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract with strong opprtunity to extend or made permanent,  Up to £60,000 per annum, Cambridge area

A little more about the role:

We are  seeking an experienced in-house recruiter who has good experience of recruiting in the Technology or Technology Engineering Space.  This company is one of the worlds most successful and recognisable brands so the benefit is that candidates are often immediately engaged with working there.

This role requires an individual contributor who is professional, results-driven, exceptionally organised and strong at engaging and communication as you will often be the first point of call for future employees of the business, Recruitment within this company is often busy so you need to be able to work at a fast-pace and deliver excellent results in short time frames. You will need to be able to attract and engage with the best talent to enable the business to meet its objective. 

Purpose of the Role:

As a Internal Recruiter the main purpose of the role is to successfully manage all permanent, contract and temporary recruitment for your internal stakeholders. Responsible for full-lifecycle recruitment including resource planning, talent attraction, channel management, candidate introduction and tracking through to salary negotiation and offer process. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Management of the full end to end resourcing process (attraction and selection strategy and delivery through to hire and aftercare), continuously working to improve the hiring manager and candidate experience and quality of hire, including but not limited to:

o Manage and execute recruitment strategy for all permanent, contract and temporary staff
o Work closely with hiring managers and project leads to fully understand recruitment requirements
o Draft and amend job descriptions
o Analyse and select appropriate recruitment channels (direct, indirect, agency or a combination of each)
o Post vacancies online as well as create and post online advertising material to promote visibility of company via technology websites, recruitment blogs and professional networking sites
o Source candidates directly through employee referrals, web databases and headhunting (direct approach) via on and off-line social networking
o Candidate management, tracking and liaison
o Interview scheduling and diary management
o CV screening, applicant testing and interviewing
o Salary negotiation and managing offer process (including business case, market comparison data and raising offer in relevant systems)
o Manage the on-boarding and induction process
• Field Recruitment Activities – including sourcing, organising and participating in job fairs, campus/conference events, presentations and other careers events
• Manage existing agencies on PSL including reviewing performance, source new recruitment business partners (3rd party agencies) when required; negotiate and update terms conditions for each when/as required
• Market and competitor analysis
• Recruitment policy updates
• Reporting on recruitment metricsKey Skills Required:

Significant in-house recruitment experience across the full end to end lifecycle of recruitment, preferably with a large multinational organisation, recruiting for highly specialist technical roles and academic roles

Experience in IT / high-tech industries (ideally mobile telecoms, IT, Software or related industry)

Must have strong administrative and organisational skills

Excellent interviewing skills and strong written and verbal communication skills

Good analytical and creative thinking skills, a proven ability to think laterally to solve problems and to communicate ideas well

A very high level of presentation, communication and planning skills

Ability to work in a highly demanding team environment with the flexibility to respond as required to request and deadlines

Candidates that are available to start quickly and also have strong internal technology recruitment experience would hold advantage over others
