Assistant Site Manager - Architectural Steelwork
Location: Travel between sites in England and Northern Ireland

I'm working with a specialist steelwork contractor who is looking to appoint an Assistant Site Manager with experience in architectural or secondary steelwork.

This role will involve regular travel between sites across England and Northern Ireland, supporting the management of live projects, overseeing site activity, and acting as a key coordinator between teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of steelwork installation projects

*

Coordinate site activities, materials, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient operations

*

Ensure all works are carried out to drawings, specifications, and health & safety standards

*

Attend progress meetings and assist with reporting and documentation

*

Act as a point of contact between site teams and head office

*

Maintain good working relationships with clients, suppliers, and on-site personnel

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in architectural or secondary steelwork on construction projects

*

Previous site-based experience in an Assistant Site Manager or Site Coordinator capacity

*

Willingness to travel and work across various project locations in England and Northern Ireland

*

Strong organisational and communication skills

*

Valid CSCS card and driving licence
