What the Role Involves

Teaching engaging, well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available in some schools)

Designing lessons that encourage reasoning, problem-solving, and mathematical fluency

Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of learners at different ability levels

Working as part of a collaborative and supportive Maths department with shared planning and resources

Getting involved in school life, including enrichment activities such as Maths clubs, competition teams, or STEM events

What We're Looking For

A qualified Mathematics Teacher (QTS/QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification)

Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching the national curriculum and GCSE Maths

A teacher who is passionate about making Maths clear, engaging, and enjoyable

A positive, resilient practitioner who brings energy and commitment to the role

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply-schools provide strong induction programmes and mentoring
