Warehouse & Dispatch Assistant based in Quedgeley, Gloucester, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, Salary: £30,000 per year, Benefits included, Immediate start available for the right person following a successful interview process.The RolePertemps Gloucester are recruiting for a Warehouse & Dispatch Assistant to join a growing operations team in Quedgeley. This role involves preparing orders, coordinating shipments, and supporting daily warehouse operations to meet next-day delivery commitments.Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy 
• Assist with inventory management, stock checks, and maintaining accurate records 
• Load vehicles with the correct goods for dispatch 
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality 
• Communicate with internal teams and drivers to resolve issues promptly 
• Follow all health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised warehouse in line with 5S principles 
• Operate Counterbalance/Reach forklifts when required

Key Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items 
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment 
• Experience with 5S or in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
