One of our main clients has an urgent requirement for a Senior/ Principal Safety Engineer to be based at home with occasional travel to the Bristol office when required. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large engineering company who are working on industry leading projects across multiple sectors.

As Senior/ Principal Safety Engineer you will have a strong background with the defence sector in one or more of the following disciplines: Maritime systems, Land Systems or Weapons and Munitions.

My client would be keen to speak to candidates with the following expertise:

• You will have around 10 years' experience within Safety Engineering with the defence industry

• Experience in the implementation of Safety Management Systems and the interpretation and analysis of results

• Working Knowledge of Industry and Defence Standards such as Def Stan 00-056

• Develop innovative Safety Management solutions to support operations
