Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded education setting to recruit an experienced EYFS Teacher to cover maternity leave for the Summer 2 term.This is a full-time teaching opportunity within an EYFS Unit supporting 2-3-year-olds, ideal for a confident Early Years specialist who enjoys leading a unit and making a positive impact in a short-term role.Your New RoleAs the EYFS Teacher, you will:

• Take full responsibility for leading the EYFS unit during the maternity cover period
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
• Lead and work collaboratively with support staff within the unit
• Support children with SEND, ensuring inclusive and nurturing practice
• Create a safe, stimulating, and caring learning environment

A handover period will be provided prior to May half term (dates to be confirmed, likely w/c 18-22 May 2026) to support a smooth transition.What You'll Need to Succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching within EYFS, particularly with 2-3-year-olds
• Confidence in leading an EYFS unit
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• A flexible, caring, and proactive approach
