Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Location: South Manchester - including Didsbury, Chorlton, Withington, Fallowfield, Wythenshawe, and surrounding
Pay Rate: £90-£100 per day (PAYE or Umbrella)

We're recruiting graduate Teaching Assistants to join Primary Schools across South Manchester, helping pupils thrive while gaining first-hand experience in a rewarding and supportive setting.

About the Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside teachers to support learning and behaviour in the classroom. You'll work with individuals and small groups — including pupils with additional needs — helping to make lessons inclusive, engaging, and effective.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting teachers in the delivery of lessons across the curriculum
Working 1:1 or in small groups with children who need extra support
Assisting with classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Encouraging pupil progress and confidence
Acting as a positive role model at all times

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking graduates who are:

Passionate about education and making a difference in children's lives
Great communicators with a positive, proactive attitude
Keen to gain experience before starting teacher training
Experienced with children or young people (e.g. in schools, tutoring, camps, mentoring, etc.)
Confident managing behaviour in a primary school setting
Open to supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
