This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a variety of residential and commercial projects across the region. The successful candidate will play a key role in securing profitable contracts and ensuring accurate cost planning throughout the tender process.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the estimation process from initial enquiry to final tender submission
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects
  • Analyse drawings, specifications, and documentation to determine project costs
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to assess requirements
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure alignment with estimates
  • Contribute to tender documentation and pricing negotiations
  • Stay informed on market trends, material costs, and industry standards
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Factor in inflation, exchange rates, and projected timelines
  • Stay current with construction technologies and innovations
  • Visit proposed construction sites for assessments
  • Present bids to clients and respond to queries
  • Prepare and submit quotations for work
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
  • Detail-oriented and collaborative team player
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, or related field (preferred)
