Progress Teachers are looking to appoint a skilled and experienced LSA to support a mainstream Secondary School. The successful candidate will have prior experience in supporting pupils within a Secondary School setting, and will be passionate about supporting all pupils to achieve to the best of their ability.

Responsibilities:

* Supporting class teachers / the SENDCO with day-to-day tasks

* Following the school's rules and implementing the school's ethos and values

* Being enthusiastic and promoting high expectations for pupils

* Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups

* Attending CPD to help you develop professional tools necessary to support a range of pupils with diverse SEN or SEMH requirements.

* Building and maintaining a positive relationship with students, whilst being a resilient character

* Looking after student's physical, social, and emotional welfare

Whilst experience within education is highly advantageous, we welcome applications from those with careers in areas such as youth work, social work, children's residential care etc., with transferrable skills that will prove invaluable to this role
