An international telecommunications business has created a role for an Interim VAT Manager to work in their established tax team. You will be tasked with providing an end-to-end review of existing VAT accounting processes. Specifically, you will have the following responsibilities:

Provide a comprehensive review of existing processes, document them and identify and implement changes to ensure global compliance
Work with the finance transformation lead to assist with the roll out of sales ledger accounting in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Review of the VAT returns prepared by the local controllers
Improve and maintain a strong risk and control framework around tax processes
