Supply Teacher
Location: Manchester
Contract: Full-time, part-time and temporary opportunities available
Start date: Flexible (ASAP or Easter)
Salary: £140 - £180 per day (depending on qualifications and experience)
Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for flexible work in Manchester?
Premier Education is recruiting on behalf of a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Manchester (Ardwick, Levenshulme, Fallowfield and Wythenshawe are in particular demand). We are seeking dedicated Primary Supply Teachers to support EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classes on a daily, short-term or longer-term basis.
Supply Teacher - the schools:
We work with a variety of primary schools across Manchester, including multi-academy trusts and standalone settings.

* Provide well-resourced classrooms and supportive Senior Leadership Teams
* Encourage high standards of teaching and learning
* Value strong relationships between staff, pupils and families
Whether covering planned absences, sickness, or providing additional classroom support, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning.
Supply Teacher - responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
* Maintain strong classroom management and positive behaviour strategies
* Follow school policies and procedures
* Mark and assess work where required
* Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Ensure safeguarding and welfare of pupils at all times
Supply Teacher - requirements:
- UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Recent experience teaching within UK primary schools
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Flexible, reliable and professional approach
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* Strong understanding of safeguarding in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
