gap technical is proud to be working with a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Multi-Skilled Contract Maintenance Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team and support critical manufacturing operations with a focus on breakdown response, proactive maintenance, and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing:
* Rapid response to equipment breakdowns
* Routine maintenance and problem-solving of recurring faults
* Working closely with production teams
* Training operators in minor maintenance
* Driving down engineering downtime
* Ensuring machinery is maintained to a high standard

What we're looking for:
* Time-served Engineering Apprenticeship (ideal)
* Mechanical bias with multi-skilled ability preferred
* Experience in Food / FMCG / Packaging is advantageous
* Strong communication and organisational skills
