Investment Banking Associate (Business Services and Industrials)

We are currently working with a Global Investment Banking boutique who are seeking Associates to join their high-performing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in M&A transactions, capital raising, and strategic advisory.

As an Associate, you will play a key role in executing transactions, conducting financial analysis, and supporting senior bankers in delivering high-quality advisory services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the execution of M&A transactions, capital raises, and other corporate finance engagements.
Performing in-depth financial analysis, including financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence.
Preparing client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation.
Conducting industry and company research to identify trends and opportunities.
Supporting senior team members in managing client relationships and deal execution.
Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field.
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience in M&A, capital raising, financial advisory, or transaction services preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts.
ACA qualified preferred
A strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related discipline.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Can come from an M&A team within a top 10 accounting firm, a mid-market boutique, or an investment bank.
