Architect

Location: Cardiff

Salary: £36-40,000

A well-established, design-focused architectural practice is looking to appoint a skilled Architect to join its Cardiff studio. With a history spanning more than 50 years, the practice is recognised for delivering high-quality, sustainable design solutions across the UK and internationally. Known for creating commercially aware, user-focused environments, the team works across architecture, urban design, and masterplanning, with particular strength in mixed-use, retail, leisure, residential, and workplace projects.

Role & Responsibilities

* Lead and support projects throughout all RIBA stages* Develop creative design proposals alongside detailed technical solutions* Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and clients* Produce and manage drawing packages and project specifications* Attend client meetings, site visits, and assist with on-site project delivery

Requirements

* Qualified Architect (ARB, RIBA, or equivalent)* Proven experience delivering UK-based projects across multiple stages* Strong design capability with solid technical and presentation skills* Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous* Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction processes* Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
