Floating Scheme Manager - Urgently Required

Our client, a Housing Association in Kent, is urgently seeking a Floating Scheme Manager to oversee the running of multiple schemes across East Kent. The role will require a passionate individual with previous experience working with older people.
 

Position:          Floating Scheme Manager

Period:            6 Months (possibility of extension)

Shifts:              Monday to Friday

Hours:             Full time and part time opportunities available 

Location:         East Kent

DBS:                Enhanced required

Duties for this role will include:

• Overall management of all housing management services across 5 sites
• Carrying out scheme inspections to ensure that it is compliant with health and safety regulations 
• Checking in daily with residents on the telephone to ensure their wellbeing
• Managing a multiple sites across East Kent  
• Monitor and action low level rent arrears in accordance with the housing association's policies
• Raising and overseeing communal and tenant repairs
• Booking and liaising with contractors

Essential requirements:

• Previous experience working in a sheltered housing environment with older people
• Excellent communication skills both face to face and on the telephone
• Experience of lone working in a support work capacity
