New York Life Norfolk General Office is seeking motivated, ambitious individuals with outside sales experience who are looking for a new career opportunity to have substantial financial growth and work for the “Company You Keep.” Financial Advisor Requirements:

  • Must live in the Hampton Roads Area for at least 1 year
  • Minimum 1 year outside Sales Experience Preferred
  • Previous Leadership/Management Experience Preferred
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset Required
  • Previous Financial Industry Experience not required
  • Previous Insurance Experience a plus
  • Life & Health Insurance License will be required within 90 days of employment (company sponsorship available)
  • FINRA Series 7, Series 6/63 a plus (company sponsorship available)
  • Outgoing Personality with the ability to develop relationships
  • Ambitious individual looking for immediate leadership opportunities
  • Fearless, positive attitude and willingness to be accountable for sales results
  • Good communicator—excellent listening skills and ability to explain complex information in a simple and concise manner
