RG Consultancy are working with an excellent company based in Warrington who are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. This role reports directly to the Management Accountant and offers the study and progress within the business.
Maintain accurate financial records through regular data entry and administrative support tasks.
Handle the processing of supplier invoices, including both stock purchases and operational expenses.
Manage employee expense submissions and ensure they are recorded correctly.
Carry out routine reconciliations for bank accounts and company credit cards.
Assist in the preparation of month-end journal entries and support the wider month-end close activities.
Compile and review financial information required for VAT return preparation.
Oversee supplier account records and support the day-to-day running of purchase ledger activities.
Help prepare reports and reconciliation schedules to support the Finance Manager during month-end.
Monitor and respond to queries received through the finance team inbox from both internal staff and external contacts.
Support the maintenance of organised financial documentation and assist with audit preparation when required.
Contribute to the management of both purchase and sales ledger transactions as part of the finance function.
Provide additional administrative and office support when needed.
