An Outstanding mixed-gender secondary school in Brent is searching for a truly exceptional full-time, permanent Drama Teacher to join their performing arts department this September. Responsibilities:

* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Drama Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (A-level), from script analysis and improvisation to performance techniques.

* Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom where every student feels empowered to explore characters, develop stage presence, and collaborate effectively.

* Prepare students effectively for GCSE and A-level Drama examinations, with a strong emphasis on practical performance and theatrical understanding.

* Assess and monitor student progress in Drama, providing clear and constructive feedback to support their performance and analytical skills.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Drama.

* Demonstrated experience teaching Drama Teacher lessons effectively at all key stages, with a track record of inspiring confidence and creativity in performance.

* A deep and current understanding of Drama pedagogy, plus the ability to direct and motivate young performers.

* Excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and a knack for fostering a vibrant and supportive performing arts environment.
