About the Role

As an HLTA, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our dedicated team of teachers, delivering engaging lessons, and fostering a love for learning. Working with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, you'll help create a sunny, happy, and incredibly special environment for around 1,500 children. This is more than just a job - it's an opportunity to be part of a school that values creativity, inclusivity, and staff well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups to enhance learning outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers to create and implement engaging lesson plans
• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Contribute to weekly events and unique learning opportunities that make life here extraordinary

What We're Looking For

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification is essential
• Experience working with primary school-aged children (Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2)
• A proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to education
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture
