Test and Development Engineer Pay and Hours

* £32,000 - £40,000, dependant on experience

* 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Test and Development Engineer Role Overview

* The Test and Development Engineer will support all steps of the new & existing product development cycle, being directly involved in the development of a product from its concept through to its launch.

* You will collaborate closely with other departments to deliver high quality products to market, whilst maintaining exceptional customer experience.

Test and Development Engineer Candidate Requirements

* Hands-on Product Testing, with demonstrable experience in a similar product development, or technical sales role.

* Experience in producing and managing technical files and documentation.

* A collaborative, honest approach with the ability to work independently and part of a team.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

* Experience in writing test procedures and undertaking testing to evaluate product performance would be advantageous.

* A proactive, customer focused mindset that strives to enhance the customer experience.

* Test and Development Engineer Key Responsibilities

This is a varied role, which will include the following:

* New and Existing Product Development - Ideation, Development and Commercialisation.

* Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance - Lead on the implementation of a new product information, assisting with inbound/outbound quality inspections.

* Internal and External Relationships

- Purchasing - Work with the Purchasing Manager to provide guidance when dealing with technical queries arising from suppliers.
- Marketing - With the Product Manager contribute to the creation of technically accurate and detailed marketing assets.
- Customer Experience - Support the customer service teams to deliver a satisfactory resolution.
- Service - Provide briefings to in-house service engineers and service agents.
