AKTON Recruitment is working closely with the local authorities and we are looking for a Children Social Worker in the Westminster area.

To qualify for agency appointments, candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience within Children's Services Social Work (irrespective of their pathway to the profession).

* Full time - office-based role. Limited ability to WFH.
* Child protection and complex Cin team.
* Court cases
* CP conferences; CIN meetings; working with children and families.
* where extra familial harm/CSE is an issue.
* Caseload between 8-12 families.
* Being able to risk assess effectively.
* Good report writing skills.
* Organized, Mosaic skills preferable.
* Previous CP and court experience
* Diligent and good work ethic

Required:
A degree in Social Work and current registration with SWE
Proven experience in a similar role, specifically within children and family services.
Strong understanding of child protection laws and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice
