Key Responsibilities:

Manage resource requirements and capacity within the team to ensure successful delivery of the work programme.
Lead pre-construction stage project management on complex and significant integrated and sustainable transport/highway projects, ensuring time, cost, and quality controls meet client and stakeholder requirements.
Provide specialist project management expertise in the pre-construction activities of highway projects in line with legislation and national/local policies, and act as an expert witness at planning/public inquiries.
Ensure adherence to Health and Safety management systems, processes, and legislative requirements to protect people and the environment.
Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and mentor team members to develop their technical expertise and assist in achieving individual performance targets and future potential.

Job Requirements:

Extensive experience with NEC contracts.
Strong background in managing highway projects, particularly in the pre-construction stage.
In-depth understanding of statutory processes and compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
Proven track record of ensuring health, safety, and environmental legislation adherence.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
