About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician to join our team, supporting both maintenance and project-based works across a range of commercial sites throughout East Anglia and surrounding areas. This is a varied and hands-on role, combining planned and reactive maintenance with involvement in electrical installations, upgrades, and small-to-medium-sized projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works

* Diagnose faults and complete repairs across commercial electrical systems

* Deliver and assist with electrical installations for projects (refurbishments, upgrades, fit-outs)

* Ensure all works comply with current regulations (BS 7671 Wiring Regulations)

* Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications

* Conduct testing, inspection, and commissioning where required

* Maintain accurate records and job reports

* Liaise with clients, contractors, and site managers in a professional manner

* Follow all health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)

* Proven experience in both maintenance and project environments

* Strong fault-finding and installation skills

* Full UK driving licence

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Good communication and organisational skills

Desirable (but not essential)

* Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)

* Experience in commercial refurbishments and fit-outs

* IPAF / PASMA certification

* Experience working in live commercial environments
