Contek Recruitment are currently working with a specialist Engineering company, based in Irvine. Due to continued growth and success, they are recruiting for a Production Planner to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (07:30 AM until 16:30 PM) and Friday (07:30 AM until 12:30 PM)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Produce work orders (Manufacturing Routing) in accordance with customer engineering drawings and specifications using company ERP System.

*

To continually participate in improvement within the department in order to meet the needs of the business.

* Ensure all documentation is issued to the shop floor in a timely manner via work to lists.

Requirements:

* Previous experience of working in an engineering/manufacturing environment

* 2-3 year's previous planning experience is desirable.

* Knowledge of computer databases and manufacturing processes are an advantage

* Responsiveness and ability to work to tight deadlines/schedules.

* Be able to work independently under pressure
