Position: Lead Surveyor - Disrepair & Expert Witness Specialist

Moxie is delighted to be partnering with a progressive and highly regarded housing association based in Hampshire, currently seeking a Lead Surveyor to oversee their disrepair caseload. This is an influential position for a confident professional who thrives in both technical and legal arenas.

In this role, you will act as the organisation's expert witness, leading complex disrepair cases and contributing strategic insight to legal teams.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Acting as an expert witness in legal proceedings, representing the organisation with professionalism and authority.
• Producing detailed expert reports in compliance with CPR Part 35 requirements.
• Leading the management of disrepair claims in accordance with the Pre-Action Protocol.
• Conducting and supervising comprehensive property inspections and defect assessments.
• Advising on dispute resolution and providing expert technical guidance in legal contexts.

What We're Looking For:

• Chartered (RICS) status or demonstrable equivalent professional experience.
• Substantial experience delivering expert witness services in housing disrepair or property litigation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of housing legislation including HHSRS, Building Regulations, Planning Permission, and Asbestos management.
• A sound understanding of disrepair protocols and housing condition standards.
• A full UK driving license.
