Job Description:

Muy client is seeking a skilled and experienced Metalwork Technician to join the team. As a Metalwork Technician at you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality metal components. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment that values innovation and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate and maintain various metalworking machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce accurate and precise metal components.

* Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal materials to meet project requirements.

* Weld, solder, and join metal parts using various techniques.(MIG, TIG & ARC)

* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments.

* Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

* Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and regulations.

* Keep equipment and tools in good working condition through regular maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Metalwork Technician or similar role in the metal fabrication industry.

* Proficiency in operating a variety of metalworking machinery and tools.

* Strong knowledge of metalworking techniques, including cutting, welding, and shaping.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

* Strong problem-solving skills and a dedication to continuous improvement.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* A commitment to safety and following established safety protocols.

* Relevant certifications or qualifications in metalwork or a related field is a plus.
